ALULA formerly known as TVS, Transylvania Vocational Services, is a social enterprise specializing in the packaging of dry foods, dietary supplements, and functional foods. We are the largest private manufacturing employer in Transylvania County, Western North Carolina. Our inclusive workforce takes pride in delivering the best quality products.

Economic and Social Influences
We are committed to making a social impact. We partner with over 20 community businesses who employ almost 35 TVS supported clients, and our TVS day program participants volunteer time and energy at over 30 different locations.
In a recent 2021 economic study, TVS had a total economic impact of over $27 million. As a result of our business model and business activities, we created and maintained 285 jobs. The analysis encompasses the direct and indirect economic activities provided by TVS and provides a glimpse into our impact on Transylvania County and Western North Carolina.
